Question: 50 ft 3/8 inch copper tube.  Pure copper. fridge tubing, never used not that really matters, still coiled up. Not sure of weight unfortunately , is there any way to calculate using feet and knowing diameter?

Answer: It sounds like you have Copper #1 if there is no steel attached or welding and it is less than 100lbs.  The price is $3.41 a pound for that.  I would guess it is .42lbs a foot or 21lbs for 50'.  At that weight it would be worth about $71.61.

Question: Copper #1 & #2 Steel.  It would be drop off.  I'm not really sure of the weights Guessing the Steel might be a couple tons and the Copper is insulated building wire that might weigh 1000#s.  The material is separated with wire in a large wooden box.

Answer: The steel would be $120/ton since we don't have a drive up scale and have to move, weigh and sort by hand.  The copper wire would be in the highest price category we have (above 500lbs).  Prices on insulated wire vary based on copper content between $2.32/lb for ROMEX and $1.73/lb for 55% copper content wire.  If it was clean copper #1 without the insulation it would be $3.81/lb.  Prices change but that price is usually good through Tuesday morning.
